BLiSS (Brighton Lady Skippers Series)
Looking for a weekend of fun? Join us in this mixed-crews regatta on 25 & 26 May 2013. Each boat must be crewed by a female skipper but crews can be mixed. Lunches and goodies included. This also incorporates the RBYC Associates Cup and the final race of the Port Phillip Women's Championship Series.

Race 4 Passage Race incorporating the RBYC Associates Cup and the Port Philip Women's Championship Series, to be followed by the presentation of BLiSS and Associates Cup Trophies and Awards @ RBYC Clubhouse at a late Lunch presentation from around 3 pm
Following on from a very successful four years of Women Skippers short course racing, RBYC is committed to supporting this great series once again. The only requirement for BLiSS is that the helmsperson must be female, remainder of crew can be mixed. Keep in mind full female crews are encouraged!
BLiSS 2013 will be run in three racing divisions with PHS, AMS, and IRC handicap classes in each. We also look forward to increased participation from our budding Youth sailors after their “debut” in the last two years. An award for the top youth skipper will also appear in this years format.
The Associates Cup, established in 1980, is also run as a single race within the series open to Brighton Sailors and commemorates the opening of the Club to female members and establishment of a Lady Skippers race.
We are looking forward to a fabulous series.
