The Club has a variety of membership categories available to suit all needs. Current categories are -
Family Membership - (Husband & wife/partner - children under 18 yrs are no charge except for Association fee)
Senior Member
Crew MemberCrew Plus Member
Country Member (reside more than 100k from the Club and do not keep a boat at the Club)
Student Member
Non Sailing Categories are -
Social Member
Gym MemberJoining RBYC requires the submission of a Membership application form followed by an informal interview. Prospective members are notified of a date for an interview by a panel consisting of one or more of the Officers of the Club. The interview with the Club is to learn more of your sailing plans and for you to learn more about the Club's facilities.Membership applications are displayed on the Member’s Notice Board for a period of two weeks so that all Members are given the opportunity to consider applications. The General Committee at its monthly meeting considers the application for election to membership.
New members upon payment of their dues are issued with a club key. Junior members are not issued with a key.Should you require information or assistance relating to the working functions of the Club, you should contact the General Manager – Eric Wegman during normal office hours -Telephone 9592 3092 .
