Please add my email address and my mobile number which is 0419442222.

I really want to make sailing my life and therefore need all the experience and mileage to qualify for my RYA yacht master ocean exam. I am also going to do the STCW95, VHF Radio, ENG1 medical, Diesel engine courses as I want to be commercially endorsed. Any help in crewing would be very my appreciated and I would do my very best to be an asset to the skipper and crew of the boat.

thankyou,

Ayhan

I'm interested in doing some crewing on race boats. I am an experienced cruiser but no racing experience. (I recently sailed my own boat from Perth to Melbourne via the Top End - she's built for comfort, not speed).

I am a fit and active 60 year-old, although perhaps not as nimble as I used to be!

Due to family commitments would prefer Wednesday Twilights or occasional passage races.

Streetcar looking for crew 3 Jun 2013 12:54

Streetcar is looking for one or two crew members to join us. Willingness to learn and a good attitude is more important than experience. This was the case when we took on two people last year with some course experience though limited practical experience. One went on to complete their Yachtmaster training and subsequently purchased a yacht (and is still sailing with us), whilst the other is sailing on a number of different boats as a valuable crew member though sadly returning to England.

Due to a couple of us having young kids we stick to the more interesting races rather than trying to get out there every weekend. As a result we do a selection of ocean races, passage races on port phillip bay and some course racing in the ORCV Winter Cruiser Series.

Streetcar is a Sunfast 3200 maintained to a very high standard, and with a new sail wardrobe. The boat was designed for short handed ocean racing and is fast and seaworthy for her size.

If this sounds of interest to you then please contact me on 0423 186 939 or aidan.geysen@jana.com.au
