Tuesday Jan. 15th 2008 ‘Cruise in Company’ meeting – 7:30pm

Sunday Jan. 20th Birthday Cruise to Royals – BYO everything BBQ

 

Our Xmas party on the hardstand last Friday went well. Good weather, fine carol singing, (Warren Parker has been hiding his light under a bushel) and good company.

 

The cruise in company meeting is for those skippers who may be interested in going cruising with others in late Feb / early March. The main decision to be made is to choose a destination, or as has been suggested, to not have a selected destination but rather to head off in a direction dictated by the forecast.

 

Our next ‘big day out’ is our annual Cruising Group Birthday BBQ at Royals on January 20th. There’ll be more reminders in the meantime.

 

Other than that, feel free to have a break for Xmas. Just a word of warning for those of you who are fathers. Watch out for a lecherous old geezer in a red suit. He’s been known to enter homes through unsecured openings, scoff any available food or drink, have his wicked way with the missus, (She thinks she should be so lucky!) and bribes the kids to silence with toys. Have a good one.
