INGENUE CRUISERS PHD SERIES
For owners of those boats built with a more cruising philosophy, who enjoy racing longer legs around more challenging courses with the chance to fly a spinnaker, come and join us for the second heat of the Ingenue Cruiser PHD Series this Saturday March 1, commencing at 1100hrs.
Held in conjunction with the IRC Worane Trophy, the 18-25nm course will provide an ideal training run for your crew prior to the Top of the Bay Regatta the following weekend. For Sailing Instructions click here.
The Ingenue Cruiser PHD Series comprises three races over the season to provide the opportunity for longer course racing for boats that do not hold rating certificates for IRC or AMS, or those that chose to compete only in PHD.
Don’t forget to also bookmark your calendar for the third and final race of the series on Saturday April 26th to be held in conjunction with the Bushy Beavis Race.
We look forward to seeing you all on the start line.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES!
With many large events coming up we are currently searching for volunteers in particular it would be great if you were available to assist the Sharpie Victorian State Championship on this Sunday 2nd March 2008 heat 4, 5 and 6.
There are also still a few volunteer positions for the Audi Top of the Bay Regatta on March 7-10 available. If you are not competing this year perhaps you would like to assist! Many exciting positions are still available including boat drivers, assistants, recorders and many more...no previous experience in race management is required for many positions (if you are wanting to drive a boat a TL3 is a minimum qualification).
If you are interested in volunteering on one or more of the days on offer please contact Scott Nunn in the RBYC office on (03) 9592 3092 or email sailing@rbyc.org.au
