Principal Race Officer (PRO)
The Royal Brighton Yacht Club has a vacancy for a suitably qualified PRO. This position would suit a retired or professional person that has some spare time. The position would require approx 15 hours work involving writing & reviewing of documents related to sailing and instructions, etc. The ‘on-duty’ and on-water jobs would require time at the club actually conducting races while those other duties could be performed from home.
The position provides an important mechanism for the racing program and for race documentation. Working as a team member with the Sailing Administrator, General Manager and Sailing Committee to ensure great racing at Royal Brighton Yacht Club. The position requires a qualified Race Officer with experience in writing accurate and timely instructions.
This is a rewarding position with the status of PRO for Royal Brighton Yacht Club. A salary is attached to this position.
