Last Week of Racing
Saturday:
Race 10 of the Saturday Winter pursuit series had a total of 19 starters which was a great turn out, I have a feeling this could of had something to do with the sunshine that decided to join us for the day. B420 Watershed skippered by Ian Mather won for the day click here for full results
Wednesday:
On Wednesday 30th July the first Blackman and Sons High Flyer race was run, with breeze up to 30kts it was understandable that many competitors radioed race control before the start to let officals know of their intention not to use extras. A few boats did venture to fly a kite well done to Avanti, Flying Fox and Pheonix giving it a go. Congratuations for the day go to SM371 BOOTS taking first place and well done to Avanti coming in a close second even with the 5% penalty! for full results click here
