RBYC Racing News - NEW SI's HAVE BEEN ISSUED Oct 2008!

NEW SI's/NOR/PROGRAM Due to the new Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) being issued later this year and becoming effective 1st Jan 2009 RBYC has decided to issue new Sailing Instructions to be effective from Opening of the Season 4th October 2008. These Instructions can be found under 'Sailing' in the main menu of the webpage and then 'Sailing Instructions' or by clicking here. Sailing Instruction booklets on waterproof paper will be back from the printers soon and will be advertised when available. In the meantime printed copies will be available for collection from the RBYC members bar and office. Due to new Sailing Instructions being issued the Notice of Race has been re-issued along with the Sailing Program, this is because the way these documents interact has changed. The Notice of Race that was previously mailed out to you in statements is NO LONGER CURRENT the new notice of race can be found on the RBYC website under 'Sailing' and then 'Notice of Race' or by clicking here. The Sailing Program can be found on the RBYC website under 'Calendar' or by clicking here. This document will also be available soon in printed booklet form. Wednesday 1st October: Hearnes Heroes Pursuit Race - ABN due to bad weather. Croatian Yacht Rally 2009 Invitation is extended to all RBYC members Who maybe interested in a flotilla/regatta type trip to Croatia in 2009 from Saturday June 6th – Saturday June 20th. An information evening will be held on Wednesday 15th October in the Olympic room from 8pm with nibbles and refreshments provided.
