LAST WEEK OF RACING!

Saturday 18th October 2008:

Last Saturday saw racing all over the bay with division boats racing in a combined centre course start for the Top Hat (PHD) and EB Green (IRC) Trophies. Well done to Flying Fox B25 winning the Top Hat click here for results and Reverie B26 taking out the EB Green click here for results. Also on centre course were one designs - Etchells, Dragon and Jubilees for full results click here. On the home courses the pursuiters were out in force...pity not all read their new sailing instructions and program otherwise they may have realised that the Artemis series was designated non-extras! It would also be a good idea for those boats noticing that they are being scored DNS to check and see if they have lodged a safety declaration this season, for those of you that have - stickers are available for collection from the office and need to be displayed on the transom of each racing boat.

Wednesday 22nd October 2008

Hearnes Heroes - well done to Ingenue who won for the day click here for results

Twilight R3 - congratulations to Yknot skippered by Craig Walton winning last night click here for results! unfortunately there was a bit of carnage out on the water last night with the works injured half way around the course - thanks to all those that assisted after the race especially the crew on Emma-Kate who delayed arriving at the bar to render towing assistance! Note to competitors for next week - please check your handicaps as sunset will be later handicaps will be reverting to the ones for a standard course length.
