LAST WEEK OF RACING!

Many RBYC boats took the opportunity to enter the ORCV Melbourne to Stanley race on Saturday - congratulations to Mirrabooka coming 2nd & Ingenue placing 4th in the PHD division.

Back here at RBYC Etchells, Dragons and Jubilees tackled centre course, For the Etchells it was R1&2 of the Spooks Franklin mini series click here for results. Off the Tower the Artemis Pursuit R4 went ahead congratulations to GoFarr2 for full results click here. The first race of the Extra's series was also ran off the tower well done to Clipper III click here for results.

Wednesday 5th November: Was an interesting day...luckily the hearnes pursuiters managed to finish within the designated time frame click here for results, The Twilight race was another matter...unfortunately the wind died out and only two boats got to the finish line in time click here to see all the DNF's, well done to Clipper III and Pheonix getting to finish!

Notice of Event Sunday 16th of November
novelty event with the format of a ‘treasure hunt on water’. It is neither a race nor a time trial. Participants are recommended to have on board a GPS, a hand bearing compass and some binoculars. The event will include some simple tests of seamanship and navigation as well as testing powers of observation. The aim is to arrive at RYCV by 1.00pm for a BYO everything (except beverages) BBQ lunch. Beverages may be purchased at the Club Bar. Participants may wish to attend the presentation of trophies for the Lipton Regatta.
