Saturday 21st March 2009 -The one designs had a poor turnout after the Etchell worlds with only 10 boats in total click here for full results -The pursuit race was won by RUSALKA David Asprey click here for full results -Range Race 6 was very successful for the club with many winners Division 1 Reverie, Schuss and Just a Minor Hickup a clean sweep in IRC and Reverie and Just a Minor Hickup first and third in both AMS and performance Division 3 Sweet Dream first in performance handicap Click here for full results Wednesday 25th March 2009 -Wednesday High Flyers; 4 boats elected to fly spinnakers and it paid off for the winner Geoff Adams on Unami second was Will Merritt on Andaluca third Graham Noel on Hot Shot. Click here for full results -The last race in the Twilight summer series was held and 4 yachts had a chance to win the series, unfortunately the wind deserted us and the race was abandoned. The series was won by Paul Woodman and John Bransgro in Flying Fox with David Meik in Pheonix second and Gary Davidson in Clipper 3 third. For full results click here Don't forget that there will be another Twilight race next week on Wednesday 1st April. It will be a fleet start at 18.15. Dinner will also be available so don't forget to book. Yachting Victoria are holding an Easter Cruising Regatta The regatta starts from Brighton on the the 10th April 2009 with a passage race from RBYC to Geelong. The following day is a race from Geelong to Portarlington and back. On Sunday a race in Corio bay followed by a passage race back to Brighton.Click here for the Notice of Race
