TWO WEEKS TO GO !!!!! GET YOUR ENTRY IN!!!!

Sat May 23 & Sun May 24 2009 is now only two weeks away for the RBYC Lady Skippers Short Course Series Incorporating the Assosciates Cup

Don’t forget to put your entry in online click here to do it now.

We are still looking for boat owners to offer their boats and last call for any women interested in skippering for the weekend – we guarantee to find you a boat.

All sailors are invited to join in the fun and come along and support our girls.

Only requirements are for a female skipper with any crew mix and you must have fun!

All lady skippers, get in touch with the owner of the boat you will be skippering and organise some race training with your crew:

  • Cerberus Race on this Saturday May 9 from RBYC to RYCV
  • Costello Winter Pursuit Series Saturday May 16 (for those not doing ORCV Apollo Bay Race)
  • Wednesday Afternoon racing

Invitation for RBYC Women to Compete in AWKR

The 19th Australian Women’s Keelboat Regatta is on again on weekend of June 6-7-8, conducted by RMYS.

An excellent series of lead up lectures is held each Wednesday evening through May at RMYS in preparation for the race days. All sailors, male and female are welcome to attend. Click here for dates and topics to be presented.

Following on from our very successful participation in WISC series this season, we have a very keen body of enthusiastic competent female sailors at RBYC. We invite you all to come and represent RBYC at this well established peak regatta to sail against teams from all over Australia.

If you are interested in participating, either with your own boat and crew, or wish to jump aboard another boat to sail, please let us know asap so that we can get crews together for training.
